    This house has been a long time on the market.
    Are the pictures still actual?
    I understand that the owner is now the bank and I was wondering if the status of the house and landscaping is still preserved.
    We would consider purchasing the house as an investment opportunity, but due to its current situation we will not offer more than 400k USD.

    • It is located about 4 km from Nuevo Arenal town, on a hill, enabling
      gorgeous lake and mountain views. We can show you the house and introduce
      you to the seller at the same time. However, do not please ask for exact
      location on the map. Do not take it personally, but we can’t afford to get
      avoided.

      OK, first of all, I don’t know if you realize, but despite Costa Rica is
      right next to Nicaragua, those two countries are on very different
      development level. For political reasons Nicaragua is poor country. To
      document that, there is about 1,000,000 Nicaraguans living in Costa Rica,
      mostly illegal immigrants. So, what I want to say is despite you might
      find cheaper properties in Nicaragua, the quality of living is way better
      in Costa Rica.

      Regarding “The Hilltop Mansion, Greatly Reduced”, it’s beautiful,
      luxurious piece of real estate for very good price, however it isn’t
      suitable for horses. The whole property is accessible, but it’s hilly and
      arranged more like a park than pasture. Anyway it’s a beautiful property.
      Not lake front.
